The Fashionable ‘London’ Trip – 2016

London, as they say is definitely a city of dreams..the beautiful clean roads & weather, extravagant sky high buildings, men and women walking on the roads dressed in everything you watch only in movies..the convenient travelling in the tube or Oxford street..there is absolutely nothing I missed..and I did ensure that.

I was in London for around three weeks where I pursued a summer school program in Fashion Branding & Communications; and during these 3 weeks I saw the city with a definite wanderlust eyes. Classes would end at around 4 PM, and me & my friends would set out to explore.

In this part I covered..Oxford street which is a complete shopping paradise of London. I ate some amazing biryani on the first day accompanied with hookah.London doesn’t have any particular cuisine; they have a very cosmopolitan culture with a good mix of all ethnicities! It was followed by the Camden Market..a particularly shady area of London. My absolutely favourite part about London was a place called Covent Garden – a magical ‘Italy’ as I saw it. The roads were so stunning filled with live entertaining shows..where I caught the Charlie Chaplin show and managed to eat at my sisters favourite Mexican restaurant called ‘Chipotle’ (yes we do not have that in India yet). I also visited my brothers university in Greenwhich and it was something seriously out of a fairytale! Also gave a chance to some okay-okay English breakfast that costed me a lot of money! 😀

No to in London was just amazing! Primark, my favourite store had a mix of everything! Plus for my assignments I got to  visit Harrods, Selfridges, Burberry, Victora Secret, Micheal Kors & many other fashion luxury stores.
